An article in this month's "Beacon" magazine reminded me of how peaceful things had become since I contacted the Telephone Preference Service and told them I did not want telephone sales calls.

Sue Haynes sent the Beacon a list of agencies that you can contact to make your life less polluted. As she got the list from the Daily Express, I assume that she will have no objections to my putting it here for those of you who do not get The Beacon.
