Walk to School (& back!) Day - Wednesday May 26th
To celebrate the opening of the new footpath across the Recreation Ground from the car park to the village, we will be meeting at the car park at 08.40. There will be an official opening ceremony with representatives from Devon County Council and the Parish Council. We will also be walking the children back to the car park at the end of the school day, leaving school at 15.30. We would like to encourage parents to use this route every day and not just on our 'Walk to School' days to improve the health and safety of children travelling to and from school

Y5 - Devon County Show - Competition
We are pleased to report that the Y5 entered a competition, which involved a project about Life on a Farm. There were 6 categories and not only did the entry win their category, they also won the competition overall! Mrs Boother and 4 of the children were invited last week to take part in an interview at Westpoint and received a telephone call later that day, telling them the good news. The children will all receive free tickets to the Devon County Show for Friday 21 st May and we will be organising the visit so that they can go and take part in the presentation. Well done Y5!
